A Bedtime Story: Why Old Swamp Turtles Can Be Like Politicians

Ancient old swamp turtles can be like the politicians who occupy our Capital building. They don't like change and they'll do anything to keep their swamp just as it is; nice, warm and cushy with lots of free stuff thrown their way to feed on all day, like fat old hogs at a trough.

But there's more to the story, so here's where this short tale is headed.

One day the owner of some land with a small swamp decided to bring in some new turtles. They were very special ones that would help clean up the area, taking away the smell and clearing up the water to make the property prosperous again.

Years ago the land was the envy of the county, but soon fell into disrepair after the original owners grew old and passed away. It was a time when the land could be bought for pennies on the dollar, and a new owner was found ready to bring it back to its former glory. It would be filled again with life and new growth a new generation could enjoy.

But days later the special turtles to help clean up the swamp were found injured, unable to do their job. Their soft bottoms revealed deep scratches. Infections had set in.

The owner was distraught, wondering what could be hiding under the dark water that could make such a horrible attack. However other needs would soon absorb the owner's attention.

He had to put the problem aside, focusing on getting the rest of the land in order, never suspecting the problem was the old turtles in the swamp, wanting it left alone, keeping it just as it was to be warm and cushy with lots of free stuff thrown their way.

The moral of the story?

Sometimes the most obvious problems are right in front of our eyes. If we had just taken a little time to protect the things that used to have great meaning for us, we could be enjoying those older days of gold instead of wasting our time being sad with despair over how decayed our land has become. - Webmaster

 

 

 

And That Takes Us To Today's Swamp.

'Mitch McConnell was elected to the Senate in 1985.

I think that most recently, evidenced by the disastrous infrastructure bill, I was vocal about not supporting this gun confiscation law, the red flag law. I don't support that,' said Schmitt, who is seeking to replace outgoing GOP Sen. Roy Blunt.

"'I've been endorsed by Senator Ted Cruz, Senator Mike Lee,' he added. 'I'd love to see one of them run. I would support that. Mitch McConnell hasn't endorsed me and I don't endorse him for leadership in the Senate.'" - FOXNews

All Americans Whose Relatives Fought In WWII Need To Ask . . .

These post-American CEOs can't deny it, as we watch the hosts of their hateful media holdings try to indoctrinate American citizens to view that generation of 1945, not as heroes, but as racists and white supremacists. - Webmaster

It's shocking that the five white male CEOs seen above, millionaires filled to the brim with wealth and stunning white privilege, are financially hosting media outlets that wage daily attacks on kitchen-table white American citizens as racists and white supremacists.

The outlets are also allowed to attack conservative blacks as white supremacists. Many of those citizens under daily attack follow the same values fought for by relatives who gave their lives and sacrificed limbs to win WWII.

However these five are only the tip of the iceberg of other CEOs who are at the helm of many of today's corporations, which have bowed down to the political correctness of Democrat leadership for over a decade.

In fact several years ago many attacked Indiana's legislature as homophobic. So this corporate movement away from American values is not new and in fact has grown more anti-American as it adopts the views of the late Karl Marx and followers such as Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton and attacks white employees in the workplace as privileged.

These CEOs also support CRT taught in classrooms by far-left union teachers supported by corrupted school board members and the National School Board Association.

The goal is to divide public school students to see each other not by human character but by skin color. These so-called educators dotted across the country have also adjusted reading, writing and arithmetic to display racial components, allowing the attack to continue throughout the school day.

A sage once commented about leaders like these post-American CEOs. Their observation was simple; The fish always stinks from the head. - Webmaster
