WOW! ABC News Stands for All ‘Bout Clinton’
“'I’ve joked that ABC stands for All ‘Bout Clinton, but this is ridiculous,' Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) said Tuesday, calling on her fellow Republicans to boycott the network until George Stephanopoulos is banned from covering the 2016 campaign for failing to disclose his close ties to the Clinton Global Foundation (CGF).
'George Stephanopoulos has a responsibility to be completely truthful and transparent with the American people. His failure to be open and honest about donations to the Clinton Foundation bring into question his credibility when it comes to covering important political stories,' Blackburn said in a statement to CNSNews.com.
'In light of these recent developments, I believe it is entirely appropriate to boycott the network until Mr. Stephanopoulos either recuses himself or is removed from covering the 2016 Presidential contest,' she added. . . . CNSNews - Read More

Harvard Professor Apologizes For Branding Rick Santorum Racist
Mark Hemingway of The Weekly Standard is responsible for bringing about the apology. In his Monday blog, Hemingway recalled Santorum recently citing Putnam's book, Our Kids, which broaches the subject of the breakdown of the American family and its effect on children, especially in contrast to the stable homes of the 1950s. Santorum appeared to agree with Putnam's work and used it to speak out against low income men who are notorious for fathering children with multiple women.
Putnam interpreted this statement as a blanket statement against black males. He told BuzzFeed: "But there is a presidential candidate, who yesterday quoted me as saying therefore — he’s quoted me as saying all black men are sexual predators. I’m not going to say who it is but what I’m trying to say is, he’s a conservative and he took what I was saying and sort of so misinterpreted it that it’s nothing like — it’s just isn’t even in the universe of what I said." . . . NAACP Loses Battle To Silence Black Pro-Lifer Who Bashed Its Pro-Abortion Stance
"The NAACP has lost its legal battle to silence a black pro-life writer who parodied its pro-abortion stance by referring to the NAACP as the “National Association for the Abortion of Colored People.”
After LifeNews.com blogger Ryan Bomberger published his article at LifeNews, the NAACP threatened to sue LifeNews.com and Bomberger over the column that took the civil rights organization to task over its abortion position. The NAACP is upset about a column Bomberger wrote at LifeNews titled, “NAACP: National Association for the Abortion of Colored People” and a legal battle between it and Bomberger ensued.
Last year, a judge issued a ruling in the NAACP lawsuit against Bomberger. The judge indicated that Bomberger had no First Amendment right to lampoon the NAACP by calling it the “National Association for the Abortion of Colored People” in an effort to mock its pro-abortion position and opposition to pro-life legislation.
Today, the federal 4th Circuit Court of Appeals has overturned that decision and ruled in favor of full free speech rights for Bomberger, his group the Radiance Foundation, and LifeNews.com. Judge Harvey Wilkinson wrote the opinion on behalf of the three-judge panel that unanimously ruled against the NAACP." . . . LifeNews - Read More

Here's Where The War On Poverty Is Being Won!
"Cost estimates for the 'war on poverty' vary, but most put it in the trillions of dollars. That war hasn't been won. Record numbers are on food stamps. The keys are discipline, raised expectations, a family atmosphere infused with tough love, imposed morality and yes, hope. Woodson says the difference between programs he supports and others is that he 'takes time-tested principles and virtues and applies them to addictions, homelessness and other conditions. We have moral consistency.'
Woodson says the difference between programs he supports and others is that he 'takes time-tested principles and virtues and applies them to addictions, homelessness and other conditions. We have moral consistency.'
Woodson quotes popular Christian minister Chuck Swindoll: 'Life is 10 percent what happens to us and 90 percent how we respond to it.' Woodson, who is black, as were all of those I met, tells me 'Every black community going back to 1784 had welfare based on morals.'
The last 40 years, he says, have transformed the way we look at poverty: 'Until 1965, 80 percent of black families had two parents in the home. The '60s destroyed all that.'" . . . WashingtonExaminer - Read More
Chuck Norris Makes Stunning Accusation About How Obama Is ‘Ensuring A 2016 Win’ For Dems
"According to Chuck Norris, Barack Obama is already stacking the deck in favor of Democrats ahead of the 2016 presidential election. In a recent editorial, Norris cited several ways by which plans to increase immigration and naturalization in coming months could create a virtually undefeatable voting bloc willing to support the Democrat candidate.
'First,' he wrote, 'the Department of Homeland Security, or DHS, sent letters to all 9,000,000 green-card holders urging them to naturalize prior to the 2016 election.' Furthermore, Norris cited the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program established by Obama to allow certain immigrants a fast track toward U.S. citizenship." . . . 31 Million Left Underinsured By High Healthcare Costs
"Roughly one-quarter of people with health insurance are paying deductibles and out-of-pocket expenses that are so high they are considered underinsured, a new study has found. The 2014 national health insurance survey by the Commonwealth Fund estimates that 31 million insured people are not sufficiently protected against high healthcare costs, a figure that has doubled since 2003, The Hill reported.
The report said that rising deductibles is the biggest problem for those considered underinsured, even with the advent of Obamacare. 'The steady growth in the proliferation and size of deductibles threatens to increase underinsurance in the years ahead,' the report warns, according to The Hill. The survey also found that people who purchase the lowest quality health coverage are also less likely to see a doctor when sick or injured because they fear high out-of-pocket costs." . . . The Rise Of Young Americans Who Don’t Believe In God

Americans born after 1980 — often called millennials — are much more likely not to be religious than older Americans. - Pew Research Center - NewYorkTimes |
"The chart here is another way to think about the trend. Pew asks Americans what their religion is and gives several choices for people who don’t identify as belonging to one. One choice is “atheist,” another is “agnostic” and a third is “nothing in particular.” Among people who give that last answer, Pew also asks whether religion is important in their lives.
To create a larger category of the nonreligious, I’ve combined atheists, agnostics and people who said both that they didn’t belong to a religion and that religion wasn’t important to them. This group made up 15.8 percent of the United States population in 2014, up from 10.3 percent only seven years earlier, according to Pew. And the share seems likely to continue growing — because young people are much more likely to be secular than middle-aged and older adults.
A remarkable 25 percent of Americans born after 1980, the group often known as millennials, are not religious, compared with 11 percent of baby boomers and 7 percent of the generation born between 1928 and 1945." . . . NewYorkTimes - Read More

Girl Scouts Of America To Accept Cross-Dressing Boys As Members
Note: The Eagle Forum warned Congress that Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a former executive with the ACLU who was being put up by President Bill Clinton and the Democrats for supreme court justice, had written a book wanting among other things to combine women's and men's groups including children and teenagers in the scouts.
The Eagle Forum reported this [secular progressive Jewish] woman also wanted consent for sex to be lowered to age 12, which interesting enough is the objective of NAMBLA for little boys. In addition Ginsburg wanted the terms husband and wife changed to spouses, candidate Barack Obama in 2008 seeing her as a role model for selecting supreme court justices in the future.
All Republicans in 1993, save three, voted to accept Ginsburg with the Democrats, which included the newer Senator from Arizona, John McCain, who is running for office again in 2016. I couldn't make this up if I wanted to. - Webmaster |

"Penny Nance from Concerned Women for America called the decision 'just one more slap in the face to Christian parents.' On the GSA website, the association states: 'If the child is recognized by the family and school/community as a girl and lives culturally as a girl, then Girl Scouts is an organization that can serve her in a setting that is both emotionally and physically safe.'
The conservative American Family Association expressed its outrage at the policy change, accusing scout leaders of “losing their moral compass.” This is the case of adults being 'willing to experiment on our kids—both the boys who are confused and the girls who will wonder why a boy in a dress is in the bathroom with them.'
'Boys in skirts, boys in make-up and boys in tents will become a part of the program. This change will put young innocent girls at risk,' the group said." . . . NowTheEndBegins - Read More

Judge Brilliantly Defends Keeping 'Under God' In Pledge: A Matter Of Historical Tradition."
"New Jersey Judge David F. Bauman recently dismissed a case orchestrated by a student, his parents, and the American Humanist Association and ruled that hearing the words 'under God' during the Pledge of Allegiance does not violate the constitutional rights of atheist students. In his decision released Monday, Bauman brilliantly laid to rest the notion that the phrase can, or should, be erased from America's history.
'As a matter of historical tradition, the words ‘under God’ can no more be expunged from the national consciousness than the words ‘In God We Trust’ from every coin in the land, than the words ‘so help me God’ from every presidential oath since 1789, or than the prayer that has opened every congressional session of legislative business since 1787,' the judge wrote in his decision.
Bauman added, 'The Pledge of Allegiance, in this historical context, is not to be viewed, and has never been viewed, as a religious exercise.'" . . . TruthRevolt - Read More

Common Core Is Making Kindergarten Way Too Academically Hardcore
"Kohn cites several studies showing that children do worse when structured play is replaced with early didactic teaching. One study of 400,000 15-year-olds in more than 50 counties found that early school entry provided no advantage to students. Another study found that those who started school at age five had lower reading comprehension than those who start school later.
A study of children who had attended 'academically oriented' preschool classes vs. those who went to schools that encouraged 'child initiated learning' discovered that by the end of fourth grade, the student who had received more formalized instruction earned significantly lower grades than children who were encouraged to learn through play, suggesting that the didactic instruction may have slowed their academic progress.
What do you think? Should preschool and kindergarten children be focused more on academics or should children be encouraged to play more and explore the world around them without the structure of formalized education?
Just for fun, I’ve copied and pasted the Common Core English Language Arts Standards below so you can get an idea of what children are now required to learn in kindergarten. You can see why there’s not much time for painting and playtime anymore — and why teachers are insisting they need full-day kindergarten to accomplish all of this in one year." . . .
