The New York Times believes its ideology is more important than what America's Founders had envisioned, writing: "But that view is myopic. In some respects, Mr. Obama is far more experienced than other presidential candidates."- Nicholas D. Kristof, New York Times, March 6, 2007
In England around nine years ago, it was toy pigs and similar objects that needed to be removed from an employee's workstation because they might offend Muslim customers or employees. Then the progressive British government, worshiping multiculturalism, told Christians they might offend Muslims, if they wore a crucifix to work or put up symbols of Christmas for the holidays.
This was as British Muslims themselves, seeing how easy the Brits caved-in to their demands, proclaimed they had no intention of integrating into British communities and would continue to grow their own neighborhoods, demanding Sharia Law.
Now in 2014, this is moving to America with the blessing of Obama's progressives.
A woman, living in a Muslim family, tested the waters this summer to challenge free speech in America with an online complaint that should have been ignored as a personal feeling that had little to do with the rest of the community. Notice this comment did not come from places with large population of Muslims such as in Tampa, Dearborn, or Minneapolis. It came from the small town of Winooski, Vermont, home to around 7,300 souls.
Her complaint was not about a civil rights issue. It was about a tiny sign posted on public property with the word "bacon" printed on it, the word offending her. To make matters worse, the owner of the Sneakers restaurant, seemed embarrassed by his right of free speech being challenged as insensitive to Muslims and took the sign down.
But we shouldn't be surprised the Muslim woman felt she had the upper hand. I came across this 2010 multicultural news story from FrontPage Magazine that read, Vermont Schools to Celebrate Islamic Feast.
The happy talk, from a city manager and the business owner with free speech being challenged in their community, was stunning. The city manager, Katherine Decarreau, is quoted to have said:
"The cool part of living in a diverse community is that it's not always comfortable. It's a fascinating place with lots of opportunities for conversation. City has to pay attention to a lot of factors while acting within what we can regulate."
The restaurant owner did a jig, too. Sneakers' owners said on WPTZ their goal was to provide a joyful place for the entire community.
What message do you think those comments send across the nation to other small communities, watering down Constitutional rights one town at a time? Do you remember a warning from CBN interviewing a Muslim leader in Brussels? You need to listen to those comments again, his knowing it was only a matter of time when Muslims by the numbers would rule the progressive city with Sharia Law.
Political correctness by progressives over the last two decades in schools and universities has obviously done its job. How? Listen to the young politically-correct TV news host reporting this story, calling the event and its relationship to our freedoms as a complicated issue.

Here is an encore to remind you of the insanity that is already happening in Sweden, recently visited by Obama who was thrilled with their socialist society.

How Could Anyone Forget The Above 2010 Palestinian Video? But They Quickly Did Under Obama's Watch.
Well, aloof MoveOn.org loving progressive Democrats did just that at their 2012 party convention in Charlotte, NC. They wanted to take God out of their party platform and then give Jerusalem to the Palestinians, (none of their business), shaking their fists at the Jews in Israel.
Did you also forget the voice vote shown below by indoctrinated grassroots Democrat delegates from sea to shining sea? You cannot tell the Nay's from the Yea's!

Question: How are your grandchildren doing? All is peaceful for them? Americans seem fat and sassy, don't they, not at all worried about Muslims taking over one block at a time as they refuse to integrate into Western society.
I know of a homeowner in central Florida, living there for years, when unexpectedly a Mosque was built a few blocks away. Then homes started to be bought up by Muslims. He was the last one, refusing to sell until Muslim neighbors threw empty bloody meat trays into his yard that quickly drew rats onto his property. The city health department refused to get involved.
One day your children or grandchildren may have to face those innocent Palestinian children dancing in the above video, the war with Gaza never ending until the Palestinians are removed or Israel falls.
The source for the dancing was an Islamic satellite channel for children called "Birds of Paradise," which broadcasts from Bahrain and . . .wait for it . . . aired in Gaza. The children's choir that is singing is also called "Birds of Paradise." The head of the channel, Khalid Maqdad, is a Palestinian Jordanian.
But Democrats instead blame Israel for all the violence, with Obama on top of it, not putting a U.S. embassy in Jerusalem that would recognize the historic city belonging to the Jews. I guess he doesn't read his Bible much.
So remember the troubled America your children and grandchildren may inherit in the not-too-distant future when they grow into adults. And then on November 2014, vote out the progressives who are taking an ax to our 235-year culture with the help of their crotch-salute president. - Webmaster

Atheist Group Sneers At Arkansas Pizza Parlor Over Church Bulletin Discount
"An atheist group is going after a small-town Arkansas pizza place for offering discounts to customers who brought in church bulletins on Sundays.
Wisconsin-based Freedom from Religion Foundation sent a letter to Steven Rose, the owner of Bailey's Pizza in Searcy, Ark., warning him that his pizza parlor's offer to knock 10% off churchgoers' tabs amounted to discrimination, local KTHV-TV reported.
The nonprofit claimed the self-described "old school country" restaurant was violating the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which requires business to offer services regardless of race, color, religion or national origin, the group said. Rose told FOX News he was stung by the threat. 'It was a straight-up marketing tool to give a discount to people I love and care about, and have them come in and have lunch with me," he said. "I thought it was a sweet idea.'
'I didn't say you had to go to church to get it," he added. "Go get a bulletin from your neighbor and come in and have a pizza.'" . . . NewYorkDailyNews
Governor Moonbeam To Mexican Illegals: 'You're All Welcome In California.' [Or In Other Words, We Welcome Mexican Illegals To Steal Jobs From Our Citizens?]
"According to the Los Angeles Times, while introducing Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto, who said America is 'the other Mexico,' Brown 'spoke about the interwoven histories of Mexico and California.' He 'nodded to the immigrants in the room, saying it didn't matter if they had permission to be in the United States.'
'You're all welcome in California,' Brown reportedly said.
Brown has made California a sanctuary state by signing the Trust Act, giving driver's licenses to illegal immigrants. He has also expanded financial aid to illegal immigrants by signing the California DREAM Act. Peña Nieto reportedly 'thanked state officials for embracing foreigners, citing measures that extend state benefits to immigrants.' Even during the border crisis, Brown reportedly vowed "to find ways to shorten long waits at the Tijuana-San Diego international border crossing," saying, 'If we can put a man on the moon, we can put a man from Mexico to California in 20 minutes.'" . . . Funeral Pastor Compares Michael Brown’s Death To . . . Wait For It . . The Timing Of Jesus’ Crucifixion
Pastor's Words: “'Michael Brown was 18 years old. He was shot around noon. Our Lord and Savior hung on the cross — now compare our time frame 12 o’clock to the Jewish time frame which is at the sixth hour. Michael Brown died on August the 9th. Jesus hung on the cross between the sixth and the 9th hour.'
Pastor Ewing continued his Jesus comparison by tying the St. Louis area’s geography to biblical numbers. 'If you look at the demographics of St. Louis, Missouri, we are known for the Gateway to the West. Now Holy Spirit said ‘well, look at 12 gates of Israel.’ The East gate that Jesus is going to walk to is shaped like an arch. Look at Interstate 70 rides 2, 153 miles from Maryland to all the way to Utah. Jesus spent 70 hours. Israel went into captivity for 70 years.'" . . . ClashDaily

Stunning With Two Years To Go: Obama's Progressives Out To Duplicate The Third Reich: "Feds Creating Database To Track ‘Hate Speech’ On Twitter." (Then comes The kangaroo courts, as happened in Canada several years ago, with new attacks on Christian writer.)
“'The open-source platform we develop will be made publicly available and will be extensible to ever more research areas as a greater preponderance of human activities are replicated online,' it continues. 'Additionally, we will create a web service open to the public for monitoring trends, bursts, and suspicious memes.'
'This service could mitigate the diffusion of false and misleading ideas, detect hate speech and subversive propaganda, and assist in the preservation of open debate,' the grant said.
'Truthy,' which gets its name from Stephen Colbert, will catalog how information is spread on Twitter, including political campaigns.
'While the vast majority of memes arise in a perfectly organic manner, driven by the complex mechanisms of life on the Web, some are engineered by the shady machinery of high-profile congressional campaigns,' according to the website.
'Truthy' claims to be non-partisan. Common Core Rapidly Losing Support
"Here’s why. As Pullman notes in a recent article, for the first time the annual Pi Kappa Delta/Gallup poll revealed that 'a majority of Americans—81%--has heard of Common Core. And 60% oppose it.'
As more Americans learn more about Common Core, they too will oppose it, but the most intriguing finding of the poll was that, among teachers, there was a drop of support from 76% last year to 46% this year! The poll demonstrated that 'Majorities wanted local school boards to have far more control over what schools teach than state or federal governments.'
Pullman said, 'Everyone is for ‘standards’ in the abstract. Everyone is not for ‘standards’ that, like Common Core, coerce teachers and schools, and impose bad education theories on the countries.'
'Nationalizing education, like nationalizing anything,' says Pullman 'requires compromise to get enacted. And compromise inevitably sacrifices quality. Quality has to grow from the ground up, through cooperation and competition, or it will never exist.'” . . . FactNotFantasy
'The Bullet' Too Violent? University Newspaper Changes Name
"The University of Mary Washington has changed the name of its campus newspaper, founded in 1922, because of political correctness. The Fredericksburg, Va., school changed The Bullet to The Blue & Gray Press because the old name 'propagated violence,' according to a press release.
The editorial board felt that the paper's name, which alludes to ammunition for an artillery weapon, propagated violence and did not honor our school’s history in a sensitive manner. The board intends to remain faithful to the history our university stands upon, and we continue to honor this history both in a respectful and meaningful way." . . . TruthRevolt
Anything You Don't Say Will Be Used Against You [Or What Happens In California Can Reach Into The Other 49.]
"'To whom and how should he have invoked the Fifth Amendment privilege?' Liu asked. "Was he required to approach an officer on his own initiative and blurt out, 'I don't want to talk'? Would it have been enough for Tom to say just that, without mentioning the Fifth Amendment or otherwise indicating he didn't want to incriminate himself?"
Under the situation as approved by the high court, Liu wrote (quoting a prior case), a suspect now only has 'the 'cruel trilemma' of incriminating himself, lying, or demonstrating his guilt by silence.' That hardly seems reasonable — and it certainly makes things unclear, especially given that the requirements differ depending upon whether a suspect will be tried in state or federal court.
Most people who are arrested find themselves in a confusing and upsetting situation — and the easiest way not to say anything wrong is simply to stay silent, explained American Civil Liberties Union of Northern California's amicus brief in the case. If suspects go out of their way to ask for a lawyer or assert their Fifth Amendment rights, the group wrote, they fear they will 'make the police even more suspicious of them, or worse.'
This new state of affairs won't make sense to people who watch those police shows, where everyone knows that a suspect is allowed to stay silent. But it might make sense to fans of Joseph Heller's novel about bureaucratic 'damned if you do, damned if you don't" situations, called 'Catch-22.'" . . . Reason.com
