But that is what Chavez ruled under taking over the media and corporations. America is not a democracy. It is a Republic. In a Republic the individual is protected whose rights come from God. In a democracy the collective is protected where rights come from those in power and where voting can be easily corrupted. You would think the Navy would get that right. But the Navy brass now live under an Obama regime where workplace violence is celebrated along with acceptable collateral damage as in Benghazi.
