Someone is Raising Their Kid Right

One day a 6-year old girl was sitting in a classroom. The teacher was going to explain Evolution to the children. She asked a little boy, Tommy, the following question.

"Do you see the tree outside?"

"Yes," he replied.

"Do you see the grass outside? she asked.

"Yes," he answered.

"Go outside and look up and see if you can see the sky," she asked.

"Okay." He then went outside and returned a few minutes later. "Yes, I saw the sky."

"Did you see God up there?" the teacher asked.

"No," the boy answered, "I didn't see God."

"That's my point," she said with a smile, "We can't see God because he isn't there, Tommy. Possibly he just doesn't even exist, wouldn't you agree?"

She hugged Tommy with a smile and then directed him to go sit down.

A little girl spoke up and asked if she could ask Tommy some questions. The teacher agreed and the little girl asked, "Do you see the tree outside, Tommy?"

"Yes," he answered.

"Tommy, do you see the grass outside?" she asked.

"Yessssss!" he replied having done this before.

"Did you see the sky?" she asked.

"Yessssss!" he replied again, laughing at the repeated questions.

"Tommy," she then asked, "Do you see the teacher?"

"Yes," he replied smiling, "Of course I do. We all do."

"Then do you see her brain?" she asked.

Tommy looked at the teacher, twisting his head, and said, "Well, No."

"Then according to what we were taught in school today," she said to Tommy, "Maybe Evolution didn't give her one."
