So you thought it was only happening in America!

And if you believe O'Reilly of Fox News, the Canadians are our liberal neighbors. But that's not necessarily so, because the people . . . the grass roots of any country . . . are getting fed up with it all. They are growing tried of the BS, and in mass.

Even everyday people in France are starting to wonder where their country has gone, now questioning the benefits of the EU, fearing they could lose their French identity. Click on the copy below to read the news story for yourself, since freedom is always knowledge.

"There is a real division in French society today between France from on high and France from below," said Jean-Paul Fournier, the center-right mayor of Nîmes, who supports the constitution, but whose citizens voted in 1992 against the EU treaty that ushered in the euro.

Think about it. Ask yourself, "When will they do something about my rights?"

I celebrate Christmas. But because everyone doesn't celebrate it, we can no longer wish one a "Merry Christmas." Now we're told it offends others and that they really prefer "Season's Greetings."

And sorry to correct you, but it's no longer Christmas vacation, it's a wimpy Winter Break. Isn't it amazing how this Winter Break suddenly always occurs over the previous Christmas holiday?

Our government has gone so far the other way, bent over backwards to not offend anyone, that I am now being offended. But it seems that no one in our government has a problem with that. This says it all, doesn't it?

The following [is said] to come from an editorial written by a Canadian citizen, published in a Canadian newspaper.

IMMIGRANTS, NOT CANADIANS MUST ADAPT

I'm tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. I'm not against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming to Canada.

Our population is almost entirely made up of descendants of immigrants. However, there are a few things that those who have recently come to our country, and apparently some born here, need to understand.

This idea of Canada being a multicultural community has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. As Canadians, we have our own culture, our own society, our own language, and our own lifestyle.

This culture has been developed over centuries of struggles, trials, and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom. We speak English and French, not Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language.

Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, learn the language!

We are, in the main, Christians, not Buddhists, Muslims or Islamic because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, which is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.

If the Maple Leaf offends you, then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet. We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really don't care how you did things where you came from.

This is our country, our land, and our lifestyle. Our government gives every citizen the right to express his opinion, and we will allow you every opportunity to do so. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about our flag, our pledge, our national motto, or our way of life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one of our other great Canadian freedoms.

The right to leave!
